Sunday Jeepnee ride home from Church

Here is the Jeepnee we rode in today home from Church. Very Colorful.

Our prospective Supervisor Lott next to me and looking out the back of the Jeepnee

This is shot is of us all riding in the Jeepnee. From left to right, Lott, Me, Brother Alan Pratt from Salt Lake City and Elder Burningham (Dad/Al)
The ride is safer to me than driving ourselves.

  1. Dear Kathy and Al,...Just finished watching 1st sess.,Sat.Confer. It was wonderful (as usual) Hope my neice Anne watched it, she has a little trouble letting her husband be the Priesthood holder in the family. A curse the women in my family have. Marla and I have finally seen the great blessing of the leadership of the Priesthood in the home. If only I came to that realization when younger. Heavenly Father has had to humble me strongly throughout my life 'til I'm middle age to finally get it. It makes me wonder why I was so stupidly proudful. What waste of time.
I am always thrilled to see your pictures and read of your experiences. Can you bring that wonderful bus home with you? It's such a terrific throw-back to the 1960's. I would ride it with you anywhere.
I miss you two, but feel so blessed to have friends on such a great mission.
Oh, by the way, Janet Rizley has invited me to Tuscan and then to their resort in San Carlos this May. Think I'll go. It sounds fun and I could use a little vacation.
I'll keep up with you more often. Know you are ever in my prayers. Love to my favorite missionaries, Terrie H.
